While we were at North Star, the wonderful gentleman from Morocco showed us pictures on his phone of people burning everything and anything for warmth - Children volunteering their toys to be burned for warmth, people setting their blankets aflame...a devastating reality, for sure, made even worse by waking up the very next day to this news. I have no doubt that this happened because of that desperate practice. Heartbreaking.
